Promotion of Hybrid Sunflower Cultivation.

For self-sufficiency in cooking oil, F.C promotes hybrid sunflower cultivation to the local farmers in association with Agricultural Department by providing rs. 4200/- per hector input supply. In this project, F.C of Seregeda was closely involved is aware of the farmer's different modern techniques from lend preparation to harvest period. We are just working as a bridge between Agricultural Dept and local farmers. At last, we successfully complete the project by the production of oilseed @ 20-25 qtls per Hector. 

Green Manuring Program

To maintain better soil health conditions our organization take a programme on green manuring by DHANICHA cultivation in association with IFFCO to overcome the problem of the fertility of the soil in our project area. In this program field officer, IFFCO Sri K.Panigrahi shows the root of Dhanicha plant where the nitrogen fixation Bacteria, how to supply the nitrogen to the plant so that the maximum use of chemical fertilizer use in the crop becomes reduced and the fertility of the soil has substance for long period. In this program, 258 farmers participate and owing to the seed before transplanting.
